Our client is a reputable building services engineering and maintenance specialists company with headquarters in Port Harcourt specializing in MEP engineering solutions.
The Company is looking to hire an efficient Procurement Manager to provide direction on all procurement and logistics related issues across the projects and administrative arm of the business in a timely and cost-effective manner without compromise on quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Design and manage procurement plan to support operational needs based on requirements stated in the project execution plans and budgets.
Interpret contract provisions in processing procurement transactions
Ensure that all suppliers used by the organization are selected, evaluated and that records of this assessment are maintained
Ensure the needs of requestors are proactively identified and met; takes appropriate actions by managing request orders, supporting tendering/bid management processes, contract negotiation, price management, service delivery, vendor management and communication efforts with suppliers
Ensure that purchase orders and contracts are used for services where possible for better tracking and accruals of cost are maintained
Effectively manage PO and non-PO vendor base and ensure vendors are only added as required and eliminating of vendors where appropriate
Plan and direct all logistics activities within the organization for optimum output
Assist in all third-party/procurement negotiations and review all contact terms before execution.
Finance
Work with the Finance team to address and pay vendors in line with contractual terms and conditions and resolve vendor issues related to procurement.
Minimum of HND / B.Sc. in Procurement/Purchasing, Business Administration, Quantity Surveying or Engineering related courses
Minimum of 10 years cognate experience
Relevant professional qualifications.
Base Pay is N350, 000.00 to N450, 000.00 monthly net + other benefits
