Property Accountant

Insero & Co.s Talent Solutions division is currently recruiting for an Accountant (Direct Hire) position for a well-established property management company located in Rochester, NY. The salary ranges, based on experience.

Summary: Responsible for timely and accurate preparation of accounting for assigned residential and commercial properties.

Job Duties:

Posting and adjusting of journal entries

Reconcile balance sheets

Cash receipt processing

Accounts receivable processing

Accounts payable processing

Financial statement preparation and review

Account analysis and audit preparation assistance

Assist in annual budget preparation

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in an accounting role and a 4 year degree in accounting is required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Enthusiasm, cooperation and strong attention to detail are required for this role. Experience with Yardi or RealPage is a plus. Prior experience with a system upgrade or software implementation would be helpful.
