We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Consultant that thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and that is looking to grow with the business long term.
Our Inside Sales Consultant will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious business development and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making cold calls, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales meetings. This role reports to the VP of Operations with a dotted line to the CEO. The ideal candidate will be agile in nature, able to juggle multiple tasks and have an attitude of just getting things done.
What you will do:
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
Reach weekly sales meeting targets as set out by the appropriate sales executives
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest in the brand through full collaboration with the marketing team
Maintain and expand your database of prospects within Fintech by attending conferences, in-person meetings and online meetings with the sales executives
Who you are:
Proven inside sales experience
Track record of over-achieving targets
Strong phone presence and experience in cold reach outs
Experience in or understanding of fintech
Experience working with a sales CRM
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong listening and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Degree preferable but not essential
Possess great attention to detail
Multi-lingual would be preferred
Experience in international sales desired
Other elements of the job:
This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days a week in office in Roodepoort, shadowing two senior-level members of the leadership team
Quarterly travel to Cape Town for team building activities
Attendance to major fintech conferences as required by the sales team
Salary: R10000 R15000 a month plus bonuses
20 days annual leave, company laptop, and UPS for home internet
Full sales training to be provided
