Job Description
The International Potato Center (CIP) seeks a proactive, responsible, and expert consultant in Aphid Baseline survey entomologist to conduct a baseline survey in three districts of Haryana and to prepare a report.
This consultant will be based in Mohali, Haryana and will coordinate directly with the Project Manager who leads this project.
Deliverables:
1. Survey for potato aphid population from November 2022 to February 2023
2. Report writing in March 2023

Requirements
Qualifications/special skills
- Ph.D. degree in Entomology or related fields.
- 10 years minimum relevant research experience.
- Specialization: Pest and diseases in Potato.
- Good record of scientific and technical publications.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills in English and fluent in Kannada.
- Willingness to travel as needed.

Expected duration and conditions:
- This is a fixed-term consultancy contract.
- The payment is a fixed and consolidated fee.
