Solution Architect

This is a remote position.

• Align to industry & market trends impacting business to continue toinclude new functionalities
  
• Responsible for assisting in the establishment of an IT Architecturepractice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards
  methodology.
  
• Manages activities that take place during solution ideation, solutiondesign, and solution implementation.
  
• Reviews business context for solutions to company challenges aswell as defines the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, selecting the most optimal option,and developing a roadmap for the selected solution.
  
• Communicatesthearchitecturetothestakeholders andcollaborates and coordinates with existing domain architects in theformalisationand adoption of IT standards and procedures.
  
• Directly assists in the development of a solutions architectureprogram including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios
  for IT systems architecture.
  
• Assures solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but alsoclosely align with the standards and guidelines of technologysolutions. Influences changes to standards when necessary.
  
• Assists domain architecture team with solutions management andtiming of financial spending for application solutions.
  
• Supports the architectural aspects of all application projects in peerIT portfolios.
  
• Directs the identification and recommendation of appropriatesolutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning optionsincorporating business and technology productivity, usability, andtotal cost of ownership.
  

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Solution Architect or similar role
  
• Hands-on experience in any of the Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  
• Excellent oral and written communication
  
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• High attention to detail regarding accounting skills
  
• Broad understanding of information technology topics
  
• Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style toinclude teamwork and team-building ability
  
• Flexible in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting rolesand responsibilities
  
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, orequivalent education
  
• Minimum of 2 5 years of experience related to IT Management orother information technology solutions architecture role
  
• Proficiency with information technologies in a secure networkenvironment
