Job Description


Heavy Equipment Mechanic


Qualified Heavy Equipment Mechanics arerequired for an established and growing shop in St. Johns Newfoundland. Knowledgeable, reliable and customer service oriented heavy equipment techs will represent the company while providing quality repairs to all manner of customer equipment in the field. A valid and clean driving record is essential.


Heavy Equipment Technicians that excel in this role should have experience diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing vehicles from Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere, Case, Kobelco, Hitachi, Terex, etc. heavy equipment and systems including engines, hydraulics, tracks, A/C, electrical, exhaust, brakes, and more.


Compensation

$35.00 $42.00/hour to start based on experience and training. Benefits available after the first 90 days of employment and include: medical, dental, vision, RRSP options, insurance, PTO, holidays and more.


Schedule

Day shift and Afternoons currently available. Some overtime and flexibility will be required from time to time to accommodate emergencies.

Heavy Equipment Repair Knowledge OEM Training/Certification Tools Valid Driver's License Welding preferred Diagnostics and Diagnostic Software Knowledge/Training
