The Director of Care, RNyouapply geriatric and nursing knowledge to drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure that nursing practice in the care home is caring, compassionate and evidence based.

Director of Care, RN you are askilled critical thinker, problem solver, and leader able to implement quality assurance and improvement programs and be able to coordinate efforts with other disciplines.

Director of Care, RN youestablish standards of conduct and hold their staff accountable to these standards, ensure their staff s competency through oversight of professional development and education programs, provide support, manage conflict and act as a role model.

Lastly, the Director of Care isadept at dealing with regulatory issues, staffing and scheduling, addressing resident and family concerns, attending to conflicts, overseeing nursing care and managing costs.

• Registered Nurse (RN) with 3 to 5 years Director of Care / Nursing Leadership experience within Long-term Residential Care
  
• Must be eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
