Job Description

- Developing new drilling methods for specific applications, such as locating underground water sources or extracting minerals from rock formations
- Reviewing designs for new drilling equipment and machinery to ensure they meet industry standards
- Estimating the cost of drilling projects based on factors such as location, depth, materials required, and labor costs
- Conducting surveys of potential drilling sites to identify existing conditions such as geological anomalies that could affect drilling operations
- Reviewing drilling reports to monitor progress and determine if adjustments are needed to improve efficiency
- Drafting reports detailing the findings of drilling projects, including data analysis, conclusions reached, and recommendations for future drilling activities
- Ensuring that all drilling equipment is properly maintained and ready to use in case of an emergency
- Reviewing drilling proposals to determine feasibility of project objectives and environmental impact
- Managing contractor relationships to ensure that deadlines are met and high-quality work is produced
