Senior Feeding Line R&D Expert (Fully Remote, Denmark/Germany)

This is a remote position.

Develop new product on swine feeding line (takes charge of the whole process, from design to manufacturing to final customer application), especially the development and design of key parts;

Feeding line development priority: tube chain conveyor (chain disc) is must and of top priority! Screw feeding line and liquid feeding line are next;

Output quality control point of feeding line, improve and modify the technical deficiencies in feeding line products;

Guide to solve technical problems from site;

Collect and share new products, new technologies, updates and new technical trend in feeding line worldwide;

Participate industry expos, seminars and key projects negotiations and provide technical support to sales.

Requirements

Bachelor or master of science in mechanical design or relevant majors;

Over 10 years experience in livestock or relevant industries, over 5 years experience in feeding line product development;

Expertise in tube chain conveyor (chain disc) development, capability to develop tube chain conveyor from design, trial-manufacturing, testing, mass production). Reference on feeding line development experience and results is required;

Capability to develop key control points:

o design and calculation on feeding line product capacity;

o design and sizing of motor/gear reducer;

o calculation on chain disc and chain;

o calculation on drive an driven pulleys

o design and calculation on corner

Expertise in material selection and calculation of key parts in feeding line products;

Capability in 3D and 2D drawing making, good skills in 3D drawing software (Solidwork, Soliedge are preferred, but not limited to the two), CAD and Microsoft office;

Strong sense of responsibility; English as working language. Recognize different cultures, experience in cross-cultural communication is preferable;
