Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: D1, Onsite
Contract / Permanent: 6 Months, with further 6 months extension
Start date: Nov 2022
It is a mandatory requirement, that the Resource proposed has more than four years recent Business Analysis Experience including 2 years minimum of that time working as aBA in an Agile Project methodology environment.
Key Deliverables:
The candidate will be required to work on a number of different current and upcoming small changes and larger projects that are a various stage in their lifecycle, mainly within the ESMA Delivery Unit team but also on other teams. The BA will be required to produce some or all of the following deliverables
Refined product backlogs using AzDo to include Epics, Features and User Stories, in line with Agile best practice
Process flow diagrams of As-Is and To-Be processes
High Level and Detailed Requirements Documents covering both functional and non-functional requirements
Requirements Traceability Matrices
Key Experience/Competencies/Skillsets: The following Experience/Competencies/Skillsets are applicable to this Role.
i. Experience of working on several large and complex projects in a Business Analyst role that have been delivered using the Agile Methodology
ii. Experience of business analysis techniques particularly in the following areas:
a. Backlog refinement and backlog management
b. Requirements elicitation and management in an Agile environment (incl creation of Product Backlogs, writing user stories etc)
c. Business process analysis and modelling.
d. Workshop facilitation (including virtual and hybrid).
e. Producing detailed and accurate requirements specifications.
iii. Possessing well defined stakeholder management skills, including managing challenging stakeholders
iv. Having the following skills/competencies:
a. excellent interpersonal skills.
b. be comfortable working within a team environment.
c. be decisive, organized self-starters.
d. plan their work based on moving priorities, estimate their activities and deliver on commitments.
