Procurement Manager

As a key player in UK s cross functional team, you will be working together with our European Headquarter procurement team to support various projects locally or cross border. The role will be part of a small, nimble local team here in the UK, whilst also being part of a global team. You will gain material experience across a wide range of general categories such as; corporate services, sales / marketing, administration, IT equipment, financing, contact center and membership services. The role will also provide exposure to a number of key strategic suppliers and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Leading, defining and implementing general procurement strategies in the categories of marketing, retail and indirect procurement.
  
• Serve as a business partner and build-up long-term strategic relationships with suppliers.
  
• Positively raise Procurement s profile around the business via proactive stakeholder management, updating key stakeholders on a regular basis and gaining alignment to strategy.
  
• Manage and implement procurement projects of UK and some key categories of the European Region, including but not limited to sourcing, supplier qualification, supplier selection and contract negotiation etc.,
  
• Support identification and management of supply chain and financial risk.
  
• Drive maximum value into the business by identifying and defining business cases which result in cost saving, revenue generation and operation efficiency.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

Ideally with 3~5 years experience in In-direct procurement and the procurement categories of marketing and retail etc., including creative, digital campaign, public relations, media, event, POSM, field sales etc. preferred in consumer electronics industry or FMCG.

Excellent stakeholder management and experience in sourcing, negotiations, communication and relationship management, proactively to identify opportunity and risk.

Ability to perform under pressure, and manage ambiguity, complexity and competing priorities.
