Engineering Oil & Gas Company is looking for aLABORATORY TECHNICIANfor offshore project worldwide, currenty inIvory Coast.
Mission:
Take samples and analyses oil, chemicals, water and other substances as necessary for the safe and efficient management of the plant and reporting.
Tasks:
Ensures that all activities within his area of responsibilities are done in full compliance with the HSE requirements Identifies and control hazards to avoid damage to equipment, personnel and the environment Executes samples analisys following analytical plan methods Provides support to operational staff, as required Maintains and calibrate laboratory equipment according to manufacturer instructions Prepare daily/weekly analytical reports as per project requirement Take samples of crude oil, gas, glycol and carrying out analysis of produced water, injection water ? Ensure correct and safe transportation for hydrocarbon samples Ensure sample points are correctly installed (earth bond lead s) Ensure all equipment used for analysis is correctly calibrated Provide log and report writing as required, maintaining laboratory equipment stocks at required levels Han dle and store chemicals in a safe manner Be aware of COSHH regulations Advise and assist in the provision of information interpretation of data and the assessment of hazardous substances Operate the chemical injection pumps, ensuring optimum rates Have understanding of process systems or be willing to train Maintain good house keeping within work areas Ensure compliance with Permit to Work system, isolation standards Be aware of roles and responsibilities with regard to emergency response
Requirements
FPSO experience is a must
Minimum 3 years of OFFSHORE experience
International experience in Angola, Africa, Brazil is a plus
