In your role, you will:

  • Report into North York, Ontario (Greater Toronto Area)
  • Define the strategy and drive the execution to modernize our Enterprise and Web record and document management landscape
  • Focus on all aspects of record and document lifecycle to drive pragmatic practices regarding governance, taxonomy, security and compliance
  • Collect and document user s requirements, design and develop database, construct, modify, implement and test data models and database management systems
  • Conduct research and provide advice and technical coaching on implementation of database management tools to other information systems professionals, business colleagues and relevant stakeholders, as well as the results of the collection and the suitability of the data
  • Work with security architects and compliance team members to ensure internal standards are met
  • Utilize tools, technology and various methodologies to create functional and intuitive EDM solutions for user interfaces of above-mentioned capabilities
  • Do some hands-on work to create proof-of-concepts/demos, document requirements, design specifications and solve specific issues
  • Ensure data integrity and operational feasibility
  • Be able to oversee project teams and provide practical guidance
  • Be available as a trusted advisor and consultant to business and IT stakeholders
  • Work in collaboration with the Architecture team to formulate Document and Record Management solutions
  • Research and document data requirements, and implement standards and models according to the business needs
  • Define service & technology roadmap for strategic planning and annual portfolio cycles
  • Define requirements for end-to-end services based on standard architectural building blocks
  • Implement IT projects to assure delivery as per requirements
  • Operate database management systems to analyze data, develop and implement data administration policy, standards and models
  • Define, review and implement designs in line with organization security standards
  • Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage, and for the backup and recovery of data
  • Implement processes and best practices to drive effectiveness and efficiency
  • Manage standard service catalogues
  • Manage suppliers as part of Service Delivery and Projects.
  • Manage overall roadmap and annual budget planning including TCO and forecast
  • Deliver to budget targets and at best cost/value ratio
  • Manage invoice approvals for operational services rendered (resource unit - RU) validation and approval
  • Manage relationship with Business stakeholders and Key users as required
  • Manage approvals for Changes, patching, improvement plans (Service Improvement Plans)
  • Validate suppliers contract from content & scope perspective
  • Manage escalations between supplier managed services and other service areas
  • Review SLA and KM (Mesures cl s) and develop governance structure/standards of service delivery based on business, and IT strategies.




Profil

As our ideal candidate,


  • You have minimum 10 yrsexperience working with record and document management or content collaboration systems
  • You have direct experience with a commercial EDM or document collaboration systems
  • You have knowledge of content security aspects
  • You have knowledge of functional design as it pertains to record and document management solutions
  • You hold a Bachelor in computer science, mechanical engineering or similar relevant field
  • You have experience with SharePoint, LiveLink, etc.
  • You have knowledge of the Microsoft product suite
  • You have ability to thrive under pressure, work closely with tight deadlines and demonstrate proficient priority management skills
  • You are organized and able to multi-task
  • You have strong written, verbal communication and strategic presentation skills Effectively communicate with non-technical staff & with members of interdisciplinary teams
  • You must be able to work well both autonomously and collaboratively and take initiative
  • You have vendor management experience
  • You are a team player
  • You have experience working in a global environment with accountability for geographically dispersed offices and entities
  • You have contract negotiation and management skills
  • You have good overall awareness of Service Delivery responsibilities including Release, Change, Incident and Problem management
  • You have good communication skills in French or/and English
