The below job opportunity is with one of our Biotech clients who researches develop and commercializes drugs. The company focuses primarily on antiviral drugs used in the treatment of HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and influenza, including Harvoni and Svaldi.

Position: Senior Learning & Development Specialist II

Location: Remote

Job Description:

• Develop appropriate learning mechanisms that include instructor-led, e-learning, & read and acknowledge training content

• Collaborate with subject-matter experts, department managers and executives on needs analyses, content development, and revision of existing content

• Review and enhance existing training programs to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of the organization

• Incorporate motivating, creative, and interactive training techniques to enhance the training experience to maximize learning and retention

• Support the development of presentation content for initiative rollout to cross-functional stakeholders

• Support change management efforts to raise stakeholder awareness and adoption

Knowledge and skills:

• Well-developed skills in preparing presentations and training materials

• Proven skills in working as a member of a team as well as independently

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Strong ability to facilitate and drive progress in a cross-functional team environment

• Superior customer service orientation with strong follow-up skills and attention to detail

• Solid proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially PowerPoint

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage and execute multiple projects to successful completion

Education and Experience:

• Experience with eLearning technologies is required

• Understanding of learning principles and application in a technical business environment is required

• Experience in the learning design and development process is required

• BS/BA degree in a relevant discipline with at least 8 years of training experience

• Experience within a pharmaceutical/biotechnology organization is preferred

• Data Science or Biometrics experience a plus
