Job Description:

• Performs instrumented tests using existing procedures to verify that machine performance meets the product specification. Supports all product groups in the product verification and validation process.

MAJOR DUTIES: Description of the major duties performed in this job.

• Designs, schedules and performs field and/or lab tests to validate new product designs.

• Develops programs for data acquisition.

• Collects and installs instrumentation for tests.

• Compiles test reports that document procedures and communicates results and guidance to design group.

• Gives work directions to test operators.

• Coordinates interaction with experimental shop and field test to ensure test activities correlate with available parts and current design iteration.

• Support all Shipping and Receiving duties at the ADV lab

• This includes being in charge of all shipments

• UPS Ground shipments

• Setting up trucks for large deliveries

• Being the primary interface to drive Air freight shipments or where additional training requirements exist

• This includes handling all received goods from South gate

• Answering the phone

• Taking the delivery

• Sending ADV_Receiving email

• Marking off Bill of Materials if necessary (test setup parts or Gett orders)

• Support organization of the lab

• Create inventory sheets for all pallet racks to include what things are and where they are to be stored

• Manage inventory of consumables and order when stocks are low Rags

• Degreasers/cleaners, Contrast Paint

• Organize and label drawers for lab and instrumentation components

• Hot gas v-bands and supplies

• Managing barcode instrumentation

• Fleet Vehicle Management

• Trucks

• Fork Lift Inspections

• Active parts coordinator

• Develop a system to stage all parts for test setups

• Managing BOMs for test setups and calibration setups

• Order parts from JD Point

• Pick up PDC parts runs

• Manage warehouse inventory for fixture storage

• Requires ability to get trailer certification within Deere.

• Running parts between here and MTIC/Gett

• Be the point of contact for Gett

• Have the master list for all Gett work

• Lead 5S activities

• Ensure tool boxes are properly equipped

• Support the organization of toolboxes with foam cutouts or visual boards

• Maintain service and upkeep on floor sweeper

• Maintain shop vac and satellite 5S cleaning supplies

• Help ensure compliance with flammable supply's storage

• Support Lab mechanic role

• Willingness to help assemble test rigs and fill in wherever is necessary
