They operates through two segments: Electronic Instruments and Electromechanical. The Electronic Instruments segment designs and manufactures analytical, test, and measurement instrumentation for the energy, aerospace, power, research, medical, and industrial markets. The Electromechanical segment provides automation and precision motion control solutions, as well as electrical interconnects, specialty metals, and thermal management systems.

Job Title: Office Assistant (Sales Support Administrator)

Job Description:

  • TMC's mission is to explore and solve the world's most critical floor vibration challenges by designing and manufacturing the most innovative, highest-quality products, providing the best customer service, and consistently meeting or exceeding our customers' expectations while promoting collaboration, integrity, and value. We have an immediate need for a Sales Support Administrator to support a wide range of sales and general business administration activities based in our Peabody, Massachusetts factory and global headquarters.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Answer phones in a professional manner, providing answers when possible and transferring calls or taking messages when needed. Check general voicemail box as needed.

  • Retrieve, organize, print, scan, file, and archive company documents in accordance with company policies and procedures

  • Review documents to locate, edit and communicate information as needed

  • Assist in data entry and data retrieval activities interfacing various company software platforms

  • Sort and deliver company mail to the appropriate internal recipients

  • Assist in document preparation in support of shipping, logistics, and billing activities

  • Compare customer purchase order and contract documents to TMC quotations and terms of sale.

  • Work directly with customers as needed to communicate payment, delivery, and other term discrepancies among order documents and administer change orders accordingly.

Position Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Business Administration or related field

  • Attention to detail and good time management skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX, Adobe Acrobat DC, or DocStar a plus

  • Experience with Salesforce.com, or other CRM, a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills for working with customers and in-house personnel.

  • Must be an effective communicator (verbal and written) both within TMC and with customers

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while focusing on the task at hand
