Mid-level Computer Vision engineer (remote)

Binoocle, in its Koone branch (Computer Vision applied to smart cities, construction and marine) is currently seeking an experienced full stack cv engineer for smart cities projects proficient in Python, Object Detection, AWS IoT and cloud infrastructure + AXIS camera integration / full-blown open-source (Docker + Balena ). You'll partner with our senior full-stack cv engineer from London. This is an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact on Italian cities by applying the latest technologies and taking ownership of a product.

Tasks

- migrate/ integrate existing infrastructure to respective AWS services

- build new models based on client/municipality needs

- interact with frontend developers around the globe to serve our models

- quickly move to POCs (with open source architectures) in different industries to gain traction

Requirements

• 3+ years experience at least building some parts of the stack
• Proficient in building/exploiting open souce Object Detection model both in batch and stream (video)
• Knowledge of both Edge and "image" vision architectures
• Very Good understranding of Python, Docker, Balena, AWS cloud services (IoT, S3, Kinesis, Athena) Prometheus, Grafana. Some frontend in next.js (React) skills are a plus.
