The successful candidate for this position will be a 1099 contractor with Music Ministry International and be responsible for the following:

1.0 GENERAL: This is a non-personal services contract to provide Chapel support services. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Coordinator who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The coordinator shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the Chapel support services as defined in this Job description except for those items specified as government furnished items and services. The coordinator shall perform to the standards in this contract.

2.0 PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

2.1 Young Adult Coordinator: The Coordinator shall provide a Young Adult Coordinator to support the administrative and logistical support for the Kirtland AFB Young Adult Ministry. The Coordinator consults and coordinates with the Airmen Ministry Council and the chaplain assigned to Gravity.

2.1.1 Education and Experience Requirements. The Young Adult Coordinator shall possess the following:

2.1.1.1. Experience working within a military environment or Young Adult ministry.

Possess knowledge and be able to demonstrate skills using Windows-based computer systems, social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter), email, and file management.

2.1.1.2. Previous experience in managing people and resources.

2.1.1.3. Ability to maintain a professional appearance, demeanor and language while serving as a representative of the chapel team.

2.1.1.4. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with assigned chaplains, religious affairs, and coordinators within a pluralistic environment.

2.1.1.5. Submit an application for a background check to the Chapel Background Check Monitor or Deputy Wing Chaplain according to Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI 1402.5 and AFI 31-501), Criminal History Background Checks.

2.1.2 General Responsibilities:

2.1.2.1. The Coordinator shall provide logistical support for the Young Adult ministries to include coordination of chapel and non-chapel events utilizing the Gravity Airmen Ministry Center (GAMC) as approved by the Wing Chaplain or his representative.

2.1.2.2. The coordinator shall serve as the GAMC receptionist to include answering phones and greeting attendees.

2.1.2.3. The coordinator shall assist the GAMC Facility Manager for proper utilization of equipment and supplies to ensure all material is properly stored, secured and labeled.

2.1.2.4. In consultation with the Wing Chaplain, the Gravity Chaplain and the Airman

Ministry Council, assist in the development of the annual calendar of events. Annual schedule will be provided to the coordinator by 1 September annually.

2.1.2.5. The coordinator shall coordinate all Young Adult needs with the Contracting Officer s Representative (COR).

2.1.2.6. The Coordinator shall maintain a record of all attendance at approved events and provide this to the government NLT 3 days after the event. (CDRL A001)

2.1.2.7.The coordinator shall maintain an updated monthly roster of volunteers. (CDRL A002)

2.1.2.8.The coordinator shall identify needs of expendable supplies to the Chapel POC.

2.1.2.9. The coordinator shall maintain the Young Adult office and facilities in an orderly and safe manner.

2.1.2.10. The coordinator shall submit reproduction needs (publicity, bulletins, and newsletters) by suspense dates set by the chaplain s office. (CDRL A002)

2.1.2.11. The coordinator shall identify necessary repairs and maintenance of the Young Adult office to the Chapel Facility Manager. Submit facility requests according to chapel procedures for Chapel POC approval. The youth community coordinator is responsible for all young adults programs in the chapel. This includes coordinating the facility is opened, setup, properly utilized, cleaned and secured after programs and other community events related to gravity.

2.1.3. Hours of Operation. The coordinator shall maintain a schedule of 20 hours per week. Specific work hours are to be approved by the Wing Chaplain or his/her designated representative in consultation with the Chapel POC.

2.1.4. Other Requirements:

2.1.4.1. Coordinator personnel who depart shall be replaced within 14 days of notification to the Chapel POC. The Coordinator must notify the Chapel POC and the Contracting Officer within 48 hours after knowing that any coordinator personnel are departing. Replacement personnel must fully meet the requirements of this JOB DESCRIPTION prior to assuming the duties.

2.1.4.2. The Young Adult Coordinator position is telework eligible. Please refer to Section 3.1 of this JOB DESCRIPTION for additional telework information.

3.0 TELEWORK

3.1. Telework: Work shall be performed with equipment provided by the chapel, but the Government will not assume operating costs associated with an alternate worksite. The coordinator shall maintain accountability for any government provided equipment. Coordinator employees shall maintain availability via email and phone during the approved hours specified. Telework does not abrogate the requirement for complying with the protection of information IAW DOD and USAF regulations. Telework arrangements shall commence with Chapel POC or Contracting Officer approval after the following details are discussed and documented in writing: Teleworking shall not result in an increase in contract price; The Coordinator is responsible for continuity of performance in accordance with the terms of the contract; and The coordinator shall monitor worker access, performance and duty hours; and plan in case of VPN failure, or unsuccessful telework performance.
