Business Development Executive

Basic Salary: RM 48000 - RM 60000 per annum

Job Location: Kuala Lumpur

Job summary: We are looking for a self-driven and proactive BD/Sales Executive who thrives in a competitive sales environment. You will play a fundamental role in achieving the business objectives such as customer acquisition and revenue growth. You are capable to understand clients' needs deeply and wholly. You are highly ambitious and have a strong drive to succeed.


What you'll do:

  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Close sales to achieve quarterly KPI (operational KPI, not conversion, number of leads generated)
  • Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns
  • Conducting research and analyzing data to identify and define audiences
  • Cold Calling and lead generation.
  • Oversee all aspects of clients’ account activities, including all communication and interaction, preparing quotations/proposals, placing orders, coordinating project deliveries, and following up on payment collections.
  • Plan and strategize for each assigned account by identifying the right persona, understanding customer challenges, and creating needs.
  • Attend training and events to expand customer database and receive technology updates.
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
  • Coordinate and work with the internal business unit to address client requirements.

What do you need to have to succeed in this role:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the sales environment with proven sales track record
  • Market research experience and technical background is a plus
  • Able to work and think independently under minimum supervision
  • Passionate towards sales with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in presentation skills
  • Driven to succeed personality
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Possess at least a Diploma in Marketing, Business or Mass Communication
