Operations lead seaweed farm in Nador (Morocco)

Unique opportunity for a young, driven and inquisitive Moroccan professional who helps streamline the local seaweed operation of The Seaweed Company in Nador, Morroco. Run & improve operations whilst preparing it for further scale up. Hands on role, in and around the water and processing facility, while contributing to the global mission of The Seaweed Company.

Can you successfully bridge the gap between operational practice and driving operational improvement? Then we now have a unique opportunity for a driven and talented operations lead for our seaweed farm in Nador, Morrocco. As we re growing our activities in Morocco, we are now looking for someone that can take the lead to run the seaweed operations in Nador, in close cooperation with our Moroccan general manager Amine.

Tasks

Local and operational driving force for the seaweed farm operation

Desire to roll up your sleeves and implement structural operational improvements

Willing to manage workers from different backgrounds

Willing to manage logistics (transport and drying space of seaweed)

Requirements

Living near Nador, Morocco or willing to relocate or travel frequently. Working location: Nador, Morroco

Technical background such as mechanical engineering, agricultural college, marine biology, food industry, etc.

Affinity with sea / natural product / food agri / sustainable solutions

Minimal Bachelor s work and thinking level (BAC + 2 or more)

Abilities on Excel software

Experience in a similar position is a plus

Able to speak Arabic or Riffian Berber, and to speak and read French
or English

Minimum 40 hours per week

Desire to roll up your sleeves and implement structural operational improvements

Inquisitive, open to take on different responsibilities

Driving license mandatory
