Job Description

  • Act as the CFO’s main interface with the relevant compliance issues of the Company with the local laws and regulations in Jordan.
  • Responsible to recommend to the CFO and the board members of the company the necessary steps to address the needs for the Company to be in full compliance with the local rules and regulations that comprise but are not limited to tax laws, social security laws, labor laws, trade laws, customs laws and other applicable laws
  • Act as the Company’s focal point for strategic liaison with authorities at local, regional and national level in relation to the following: (a) Legal and administrative issues related to the Company, such as the administration of the HR Services Agreement related to the directly recruited staff, residence and work permits for international staff and other privileges; (b) all matters affecting the Company’s operations, e.g. export and import processes for goods financed / procured by the Company; (c) fulfil all official requirements, such as registrations/renewals with the relevant authorities and all documents and declarations are in compliance with the local laws and regulations.
  • Develop, review, and update the Company’s compliance guidelines and procedures with the local laws and regulations.
  • Make sure that Company compliance issues are in line with SRTF’s mandate and guidelines (compliance with internal regulations and manuals e.g. operational manual, procurement manual, finance manual etc.) in close coordination with the Compliance Section Head.
  • Confirm compliance with local laws of all templates and manuals used by the MU.
  • Keep the Board Members of the Company and the Section Heads of the MU fully informed of all significant issues related to compliance issues with local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the integrity of the internal controls, reporting needs and required amendments to management.
  • Report all new local rules and regulations, including regulations on labour, Tax, commercial law, etc, related to the operations of SRTF for Management Services – Jordan to the management and lead implementation.
  • Keep the compliance standards of the Company updated as required.
