Job Description

- Ensuring that safety procedures are followed, such as wearing safety equipment while working with chemicals or machinery
- Making sure that proper materials are used to complete the job, such as brushes, rollers, or drop cloths
- Maintaining a schedule for production, recording progress, and ensuring that deadlines are met
- Communicating with the crew to ensure that all tasks are completed satisfactorily
- Preparing work sites for painting projects, including removing old paint, repairing surfaces, and patching holes
- Inspecting finished work to ensure that it meets standards, such as quality and adherence to color specifications
- Coordinating with the client, architect, designer, or engineer regarding design details and specifications
- Organizing and managing workers on large projects, including hiring, scheduling, and training workers
- Monitoring the performance of workers to ensure that job requirements are being met
