Job Description
- Developing and managing budgets for each property based on projected sales figures, operating costs, and profit margins
- Maintaining rental units by ensuring that they are safe and well maintained at all times
- Conducting initial interviews with potential residents to determine if they meet qualifications for renting a unit
- Conducting regular maintenance of the property, including responding to tenant requests for repairs
- Ensuring that all maintenance issues are handled in a timely manner by hiring contractors when necessary
- Coordinating with vendors to obtain materials needed for repairs or other projects
- Communicating with residents regarding rent payments, maintenance issues, and other concerns
- Reviewing applications for new tenants to ensure they meet requirements such as income, employment status, and references
- Creating marketing materials such as flyers or brochures to promote the property to prospective renters
