Purely Automotive Recruitment Ltd are searching for a driven and self-motivatedIT Systems Advisor to join our client based in Warrington, Cheshire. Our client is a largefamily-owneddealer group representing a number of prestige automotive vehicle brands across their operations.

We are looking for an IT Systems Advisor to help, maintain, and troubleshoot a rapidly expanding infrastructure. You will be part of a talented team reporting to the Group IT and Facilities Manager. You will demonstrate superb technical competency, helping to deliver systems performance and security.


Qualified IT Advisors will have a background in IT, Advisor - Helpdesk support & Helpdesk analysis. You must be a competent unsupervised IT Systems Advisor, with experience dealing with End Users, Senior Management & Directors alike. Teamwork is essential, the capacity to work with people at all levels is crucial.

Requirements

MCSE Qualifications relating to Windows & Office are highlydesirable


Proven work experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting:

Microsoft Office 2003 to 2019

Microsoft Windows 7 - 10

Experience of Active Directory & Group Policy & how it manages end users as well as systems


Google Workspace - User & Mailbox setup, assigning Groups etc


PC and Laptop hardware


Apple Mac OSX 10 & above


Apple mobility products both tablet & smartphone


Network equipment (Cisco switches, Ubiquiti switches & Access Points / Fortinet Firewalls)


Solid systems analysis skills

Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)


Minimum 3 years working experience as an IT Helpdesk - Administrator in all the above Operating Systems & Applications with solid, provenexperience in the administration and performance tuning of the same:

Experience with monitoring systems of all platforms


Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment to agreed timescales.


Providing reports and information to the Group IT and Facilities Manager.


You will need to be able to keep all of the systems running smoothly & manage backups.


Deploying critical updates when needed on the platforms.


Plan and manage work streams, allocating and managing work for team members & contractors alike.

Contribute to the design, development, testing, and implementation of software, systems, and enhancements to the core processing systems and platforms of the group.

Proven experience of working with an IT Helpdesk / Advisor is essential.


Evidence of a strong team ethic and communication skills will be required.


The candidate must have good Excel skills and good Web Portal experience.


Desirable skills:


Experience in IT infrastructure deployment and ongoing support.


Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence.
