Job Description
Plan, direct and control all manufacturing operations related to production, maintenance, and qualityand optimally run the company s production facilities, machines and equipment to achieve the agreedproduction targets. Simultaneously, timely meet sales orders as per customer requirements whilecontinuously minimize the cost and ensure compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental standards
Ensure the achievement of the manufacturing function strategic objectives by setting priorities andobjectives for direct reports, managing performance, developing and motivating highly qualifiedtalent, and providing strategic direction in order to maximize performance, and improve operational excellence and productivity.
Raise employee awareness and commitment to company vision, mission, values and corporatestrategy in order to establish a highly engaged and motivated workforce, and continuouslyimprove performance.
Provide direction on the preparation and consolidation of the manufacturing function budget in linewith the function s annual business plan.
Ensure effective and continuous financial performance monitoring for the manufacturing functionagainst the budget so that the organization is aware of anticipated costs and/or revenues, areasof unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvementopportunities are capitalized on.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor s Degree in Engineering
Master s degree in management is a plus
Strong knowledge of factory operations
10. EXPERIENCE
Minimum 15 years of experience in production/maintenance/quality operations, out of which 3
years in senior leading position in large size manufacturing company.
11. COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Strategic approach to problem solving and decision making
Long term planning and organizing
High level of key interpersonal skills set
Adaptability and working under pressure
Critical communication and influential skills
