Senior Site Electrical Engineer

Job Description

• Generally responsible for implementations and monitoring of all electrical related works at technical office and sites.
• Coordinate all technical matters between engineering, construction, procurement, and subcontractors in order to solve any potential problems under MEP Manager supervision.
• Ensure an effective material management process relating to, submittals approval process, control, storage, and distribution of materials according to the projects’ needs.
• Ensure proper distribution of all updated & approved project documents to all project concerned parties to keep them all updated.
• Support Planning and Cost Control Department in monitoring monthly construction progress.
• Support Contract Administrators in preparing any technical/cost claims with enough information about any variation orders.
• Estimate, prepare and assign the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works prior to execution.
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work.
• Submit site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required and deliver them to Site Manager.
• Ensure that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any relevant major
• 5+ years of experience in MEP projects with reputable companies with working knowledge of electrical works in commercial and residential buildings.
• Good knowledge of construction procedures and practices in mega projects .
