Job Description

  • Experience and managing development efforts using a configuration management tool, such as PVCS.
  • Hibernate is used to manage data access object between object orient java and relational database.
  • Analyze and create new data windows to accommodate search pending items using PFC.
  • Develop windows, data windows, user objects, and tables and store procedures in SQL.
  • Used object orient language like PowerBuilder v9.0 in a UNIX environment with SYBASE ASE 15.0 and DB2.
  • Have designed and develop many windows, user objects and data windows to enhance the PB applications.
  • Create and modified/update new PB objects (windows, structures, functions, user objects using SQL).
  • Involve in creating Sybase procedures/packages and other database relate development.
  • Implement triggers to enforce business rules.
  • Develop new GUI pages for business needs.
  • Tune and monitor, SQL and PL/SQL performance.
  • Enhance existing GUI to become more user friendly.
  • Convert application to work with the PC version of DB2.
  • Create new PowerBuilder CSWEB windows and menu options for those windows.
  • Coordinate testing of changes for new releases with head of QA department
