As a Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer you will ensure that complex systems meet quality safety and performance requirements across software hardware and system levels.
You will be responsible for developing and executing structured testing and validation strategies throughout the product development lifecycle contributing to reliable and high-quality system delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute validation and test strategies
- Develop and maintain HIL / SIL / MIL and virtual test environments
- Perform functional performance and fault-injection testing
- Ensure requirements traceability and test coverage
- Analyze test results and support root cause analysis and defect resolution
- Support test automation and CI integration activities
- Collaborate closely with development teams to improve product quality and reliability
- Support safety regulatory and compliance-related activities
Required Experience:
- Experience in system testing validation or verification activities
- Hands-on experience with simulation and virtual testing environments
- Experience in safety-critical or regulated industries is an advantage
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and quality assurance processes
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and quality assurance processes
- Experience with HIL / SIL / MIL environments and test frameworks
- Familiarity with test automation and traceability tools
- Knowledge of safety standards such as ISO 26262 or IEC 62304 is a plus
- Structured analytical and detail-oriented mindset
- Fluent Japanese language skills required
- English communication skills are a plus
