RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring an Health Care Assistant for a Nursing Home in Co Clare Ireland.
This opportunity is open to EU citizens as well as candidates holding Stamp 4 or Stamp 1G permissions.

This is a full-time position
Responsibilities
Ability to deliver high quality person centred care while maintaining residents dignity and independence.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide emotional support companionship and reassurance to residents.
Experience assisting residents with mobility daily living activities and personal care needs.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with nursing staff residents and families.
Strong observation and reporting skills to identify and communicate changes in residents conditions.
Ability to assist residents with feeding hydration and maintaining overall comfort and wellbeing.
Experience supporting and encouraging participation in social and recreational activities.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with residents families and multidisciplinary team members.
Knowledge of infection prevention cleanliness standards and health and safety practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a busy care environment.
Requirements
Healthcare qualification completed or currently in progress (QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent).
Previous experience in a healthcare nursing home or residential care setting is desirable.
Relevant healthcare experience is required for Senior Healthcare Assistant applicants.
Strong commitment to delivering high-quality person-centred resident care.
Compassionate and caring approach with a genuine interest in supporting older adults.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
