Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to lead the technical strategy for Fulfilment service resilience and test automation. This is a highimpact role for someone who enjoys marrying deep engineering with operational excellence observability modern testing practices and agentic AIdriven automation.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Set the technical direction across reliability resilience and SDLC quality at tech family scale.
• Drive cross-team collaboration to improve the north star metrics (e.g. Incident Count/Impact Incident Detection/Mitigation Time Alert Accuracy/Recall Rate Test Coverage).
• Participate and raise the bar in technical decision-making processes.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in reliability engineering and agentic AI recommending and piloting innovative solutions.
• Identify highleverage opportunities to apply agentic AI to improve reliability incident response and developer productivity.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Handle the incident to resolve fast safe and with as little impact as possible.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Qualifications :

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field; Masters degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in software engineering with at least 2 years in a senior or lead engineering role.
• Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Go Java or Python.
• Expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of database systems including both SQL and NoSQL technologies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
• Solid understanding of software design patterns and principles.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Solid understanding of concepts such as prompt design tool/function calling and safety/guardrails for AI systems is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale high-performance resilient systems.
• Proven track record of driving test automation strategy / SDLC for complex systems.
• Experience building or integrating LLMpowered or agentic AI systems (e.g. AI copilots workflow agents autonomous runbooks) into production environments
