Job Summary
Data Analysis & Design Support: Using geotechnical software (e.g. PLAXIS Slope/W LPILE) for numerical modeling of slope stability pile foundations and settlement analysis under the guidance of a senior engineer.
Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of factual and interpretative geotechnical reports technical specifications and construction documents.
Construction Monitoring: Observing field activities during construction such as pile driving deep foundation installation and subgrade preparation to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Project Coordination: Interacting with clients and team members assisting with project budget tracking and ensuring project deadlines are met.
Review soil investigation report done by geotechnical contractor and perform geotechnical design under supervision of senior geotechnical engineer.
This position reports to PTVI senior geotechnical engineer/engineering manager in day-to-day basis and in coordination with HQ and onsite SMEC technical and project management team.
