Accountant
Job Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring timely & accurate financial reporting according to accounting standards and in line with the Hotels policy & procedures.
- Prepare month-end & year-end closing journals
- Compile financial reports for management in accordance with policies & procedures
- Ensure bank sheet reconciliations are completed on a timely and accurate manner
- Check daily bank statements for abnormalities
- Supervise respective Finance sections and ensure timely submission of all related reports and compliance to policy & procedures
Qualifications :
- Diploma in Accounting / Finance
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Good reading writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Proficient in MS Excel Word PowerPoint and relevant accounting systems
- Strong leadership interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and customer contact skills
- Results and service oriented with an eye for details
- Ability to multi-task work well in stressful & high-pressure situations
- Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
