Role and Responsibilities:

1. Maintain purchasing records and pricing information updated in the system.
2. Prepare reports and track the sales demand fluctuation and inventory value.
3. Help buyer with day-to-day purchasing tasks.
4. Coordinate with user departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work for projects assigned.
5. Handling and monitoring claims to factories and vendors for defectives shortage missing parts.
6. Support relevant departments with quotations for the purpose of project / product.
7. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
8. Responsible for the preparation and process of purchasing orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
9. Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items by suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to site/store on time.
10. Plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products.

Qualification and Education Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or similar).
• Verbal communication in Marathi / English/ Hindi.

Experience:

Candidate must complete BE/ or Graduation in equivalent or similar stream Mechanical/electrical.

Preferred Skills / Special Skills:

• Must have knowledge about manufacturing operations.
• India taxation overview (GST export benefits etc.)
• Must have knowledge about MS office (Excel Word Power point etc.)
• Knowledge about BAAN software will be preferred.
• Awareness of ISO and Industrial Norms.
