Windows & VMware Administrator
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Windows & VMware Administrator responsible for managing maintaining and supporting Windows Server infrastructure and VMware virtualization environments. The candidate will ensure high availability performance security and reliability of enterprise systems.
- Administer and support Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments.
- Manage VMware vSphere ESXi vCenter HA DRS vMotion and VM provisioning.
- Perform server installation configuration patching upgrades and troubleshooting.
- Manage Active Directory DNS DHCP Group Policies and user access.
- Monitor server health performance and capacity utilization.
- Handle backup restore and disaster recovery activities.
- Perform VM migrations (P2V V2V) and infrastructure upgrades.
- Troubleshoot server virtualization storage and performance-related issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
- Implement security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Support incident problem and change management processes.
- Strong experience in Windows Server Administration.
- Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi vCenter vSphere HA DRS and vMotion.
- Knowledge of Active Directory DNS DHCP Group Policy.
- Experience with WSUS/SCCM patch management.
- Knowledge of storage technologies (SAN/NAS).
- PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP VLAN Routing).
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios SCOM or similar.
- Azure/AWS cloud exposure.
- Veeam/Commvault backup administration.
- VMware VCP Microsoft MCSA/MCSE or Azure certifications.
- Experience with ITIL processes and ServiceNow.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field.
- 6 years of experience in Windows and VMware administration.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
