Job Summary
Job Overview: Aerolam is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Welding Technician with 35 years of experience to handle and supervise welding activities as per project requirements quality standards and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in multiple welding techniques and the ability to manage a team efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities: Plan coordinate and execute welding activities as per project timelines and quality standards Ensure proper maintenance and repair of welding machines and equipment Track and manage welding consumables such as rods gases and tools Strictly follow and enforce safety standards including hot work and work-at-height protocols Perform welding using SMAW TIG MIG and FCAW techniques Read and interpret engineering drawings and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) Promote a strong safety culture within the team Lead and manage a team ensuring smooth communication and coordination
Required Skills: Strong knowledge of welding processes: SMAW TIG MIG FCAW Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and WPS Good understanding of industrial safety practices Team handling and leadership skills Effective communication skills
Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant welding experience
Education: Diploma / ITI / Degree in Mechanical Welding or related field
