Vendor Risk Management (VRM) Summer Intern

Role - Summer Intern

The Team: Vendor Risk Management is a critical function that Organizations globally are increasingly focusing on. Our team reviews technical and non-technical controls of Vendors against the Regulatory requirements (such as SEC DORA MAS ESMA) and Industry standards (such as ISO27001:2022) to assist the business in making risk-informed decisions.

Vendor Risk Management team is combination of various Subject Matter Experts coming from Cyber Security Compliance Privacy and Financial expert who work together to provide a 360-degree view of risk exposure from the vendor engagements.

Key responsibilities:

• Learn the Vendor Risk Assessment process and assist the team in performing reviews in the domain such as Cyber security Business Continuity Financial Privacy and Reputational
• Conduct initial risk screenings based on predefined criteria and indicating the level of Risk involved in engaging the vendor
• Assist the VRM Team on the strategic project both developing and testing and sharing results along with improvement areas

What Were Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration Risk Management Information Security or a related field
• Basic understanding of Risk Management concepts (preferred)
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team manage time and handle multiple tasks

Timing: This position is required to work in UK Shift (2pm -11pm IST); flexibility is a must especially when it comes to vendor and internal meetings held during US business hours.
