Job Summary
POSITION: Unit Manager
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations at the co-packer site covering production coordination dispatch execution compliance documentation and material management while serving as the primary interface between the site supply planning logistics and commercial teams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Production & Operations Coordination
Prepare and submit the Daily Production Report (DPR) and RM/PM closing report.
Release and track production (purchase orders) and dispatch (invoicing) schedules in coordination with supply planning; confirm and communicate updates to the ESC & sales teams.
Maintain RM/PM consumption and wastage records accurately.
Ensure RM/PM availability at site is aligned to the RSF plan flag risks proactively.
Responsible to adhering to core KPIs of Yield Throughputs and other executions KPIs
Engage in daily shop floor time for review governance and team coaching
Owning the Food & Human Safety of the site
Advocate of Food & Human Safety across the co-packer site via adhering to GMI policies and guideline (specification of RM/PM Food safety policy to be implemented)
Adherence to FSSAI legal metrology factory license & other such licenses
Partner with FSQ & other Regulatory team for Health Audits and actions plan closures
Dispatch & Logistics Management
Arrange vehicles for direct dispatch; coordinate with the logistics team to ensure ontime delivery.
Follow up on CFA dispatch with the ESC team and ensure timely vehicle deployment.
Conduct vehicle check inspections with the Quality member prior to dispatch.
Maintain vehicle in/out records and prepare inward/outward documentation.
Enable & drive exceptional customer service through the respective co-packer
Commercial & Compliance Documentation
Prepare sales invoices and e-waybills accurately and within required timelines.
Enter purchase bills and finished goods production data into the system.
Handle debit and credit note follow-ups with ESC; confirm and close.
Complete monthly reconciliation and accounting tasks as per schedule.
Inventory accuracy and FIFO compliance
Reporting & MIS
Compile and maintain KPI dashboards and MIS reports (Work order closure Provision Reconciliation & respective approvals) site performance.
Manage communication with internal stakeholders supply planning ESC logistics Sales quality and R&D.
Coordinate with various stakeholder across the organization to drive initiatives and improvement projects
