Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your front-end development expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative innovative and forward-thinking teammates.

Youll help shape the future of Alstoms digital transformation by building intuitive scalable and high-performing web applications. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (e.g. product managers UX designers backend developers) develop reusable components and ensure the seamless integration of front-end applications with backend services and much more.

Youll specifically take care of translating UI/UX designs into scalable code but also optimizing applications for performance scalability and accessibility.

Well look to you for:

• Developing and maintaining responsive web applications using Angular and React frameworks

• Building reusable components and front-end modules

• Integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services

• Ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility

• Writing clean maintainable and well-documented code

• Participating in code reviews debugging troubleshooting and performance tuning

• Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field

• Experience or understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5 CSS3/SCSS JavaScript (ES6) and TypeScript

• Hands-on experience with Angular (v10) and frameworks

• Knowledge of responsive web design and single-page applications (SPAs)

• Familiarity with state management tools like Redux Context API or RxJS

• A basic understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS

• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
