Tool Operations Manager
Job Summary
- Lead the operational lifecycle of centrally hosted security tools including evaluation onboarding deployment sustainment upgrades integrations and retirement.
- Serve as the business owner for enterprise-delivered security platforms establishing service expectations support models operating procedures and performance metrics.
- Manage vendor relationships licensing agreements renewals escalations and roadmap reviews to maximize value and service reliability
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to tool operations user adoption data quality and process effectiveness.
- Collaborate with product security engineering infrastructure supply chain and business teams to establish scalable workflows and user enablement programs.
- Develop and maintain dashboards metrics and reporting that provide insight into service performance platform health vulnerability operations and software supply chain visibility.
- Ensure operational procedures governance documentation and audit-ready evidence are maintained to support compliance and secure development practices.
- Translate operational findings and emerging risks into actionable recommendations and improvement plans for stakeholders.
- You build collaborative relationships across organizational boundaries and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You use data and insights to guide decisions establish structure and accountability and continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and outcomes. You balance strategic thinking with operational excellence enabling teams to achieve sustainable results while delivering value through enterprise security platforms.
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Information Technology Engineering Computer Science or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in cybersecurity operations enterprise tool administration IT service delivery product security tooling or related technology operations.
- Experience supporting both SaaS and on-premises platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise in vendor management service governance process improvement reporting stakeholder engagement and operational problem-solving.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments.
- Experience with enterprise security platforms such as Black Duck and related software composition analysis solutions.
- Knowledge of Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) processes vulnerability management workflows case management systems and security tool integrations.
- Understanding of software supply chain security open-source risk management compliance requirements and audit readiness practices.
- Experience working in a matrixed global organization supporting multiple business units and stakeholders.
