Job Summary

Job Purpose

Responsible for coordinating sustainability efforts across all Grasim locations and supporting the Sustainability team in driving value creation and brand enhancement. The role involves managing sustainability data reporting facilitating cross-functional execution and ensuring effective implementation of key sustainability initiatives.

The position will also lead the development of nonfinancial reporting framework covering ESG data Integrated and Sustainability Reports and related policies and practices to strengthen the Grasims global recognition on platforms such as DJSI CDP MSCI etc and other ESG rating benchmarks.

Job Context & Major Challenges

The role is positioned at the Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager level and requires a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Sustainability preferably within the manufacturing sector. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of Grasims Integrated Report Sustainability Report and other NonFinancial (ESG) disclosures.

Given Grasims diversified business portfolio spanning VSF Chemicals Paints and Textiles the role demands strong coordination capabilities to engage multiple stakeholders across locations. The incumbent will be responsible for collecting standardizing and validating nonfinancial data to ensure accuracy and consistency. This information is critical for external stakeholders including international ESG agencies investors and shareholders who rely on these disclosures to assess Grasims Sustainability performance best practices and progress on key environmental and social initiatives.

KRA1	Preparation of Integrated Report/ Sustainability Report	Preparation of Integrated & Sustainability Reports Support the preparation of the Integrated Report and Sustainability Report by closely collaborating with internal stakeholders across functions and business units. Analyse key sustainability metrics and performance indicators for inclusion in the Sustainability Report (SR) and Integrated Report (IR) ensuring alignment with applicable frameworks and standards. Coordinate with various business teams to finalize nonfinancial disclosures ensuring completeness consistency and readiness for thirdparty assurance.
KRA2	Non-Financial Reporting (ESG Reporting) & Managing Sustainability Projects	ESG Assurance Facilitate endtoend assurance of sustainability indicators in coordination with plant coordinators and crossfunctional teams. Manage assurance workflows including timely resolution of auditor queries and validation of data. Ensure completeness accuracy and auditreadiness of nonfinancial disclosures Sustainability Disclosures & ESG Ratings (BRSR DJSI CDP MSCI etc.) Manage endtoend ESG disclosure processes by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams including Sustainability HR Supply Chain Investor Relations Finance Secretarial Legal Marketing EHS and CSR. Ensure accuracy consistency and timely submission of responses to ESG rating agencies and disclosure platforms. Track and evaluate ESG ratings performance; support development and execution of action plans to drive continuous improvement in ratings and disclosures. Sustainability Performance monitoring Monitor and analyse key sustainability KPIs including energy water and waste across business units. Track progress against sustainability goals and targets; identify gaps and recommend corrective actions. Assess climaterelated risks and support integration into enterprise risk management frameworks. Reporting & Strategic Initiatives Prepare periodic (monthly/quarterly) sustainability performance updates for the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) and senior leadership. Lead and support ongoing and future sustainability projects and strategic initiatives across Grasim. Drive standardisation data integrity and continuous improvement in sustainability data management systems and processes
KRA3	Internal stakeholders and compliance requirements	Collaborate closely with internal business stakeholders to incorporate strategic insights business outlook and key messages into investor and corporate presentations. Work in close coordination with the CSO and CFO offices to track manage and respond to investor queries from global stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner. Support the preparation of quarterly and annual results presentations for the Board of Directors investors Risk & Sustainability Committee and other leadership forums. Develop and maintain structured repositories of key industry peer and business data to facilitate prompt and datadriven responses to analyst and investor queries.
