About The Role

You are the packaging expert for our content. A world-class video is useless if no one clicks on it and you are the person who ensures they do. Your job is to take the core hook of a video and turn it into a high-impact visual that stands out in a crowded feed. You will work in an AI-first environment using generative tools to create assets and variations that would take hours to build by hand.

Focus Area 1: Visual Storytelling and CTR Optimization

You own the click.

• You design thumbnails that tell a story in a split second. You understand how to use composition contrast and color theory to guide the viewers eye exactly where you want it.
• You are a master of The Hook. You know how to pair a compelling image with minimal text to create curiosity or urgency.
• You manage facial expressions and emotive triggers. You know how to select or generate the perfect hero image that connects with a human audience.
• You work closely with the Channel Intelligence Lead to analyze A/B test results and refine your designs based on actual performance data.

Focus Area 2: AI-First Composition and Workflow

You use the machine to outpace the competition.

• You are a power user of generative AI tools like Midjourney DALL-E 3 or Stable Diffusion to create unique assets backgrounds and characters from scratch.
• You use the latest AI features in Photoshop (like Generative Fill and Expand) to manipulate images swap elements and clean up compositions in seconds.
• You build and maintain a library of AI-generated assets that allow us to move from a concept to a finished thumbnail in record time.
• You stay ahead of the curve. When a new AI model or technique drops that can improve our visual quality or speed you are the first to master it.

Focus Area 3: Iteration and Data-Driven Design

You dont just make one version; you build a system for winning.

• You produce multiple variations for every video. You understand that the first idea isnt always the best and you use AI to quickly test different angles colors and compositions.
• You are obsessed with the why behind the click. You look at CTR (Click-Through Rate) data and qualified view metrics to understand which visual styles are resonating with our specific audience.
• You ensure brand consistency. While every thumbnail is an experiment you make sure the overall look of the channel remains premium and recognizable.

What We Are Looking For

• Technical Agility: You are a master of the Adobe Suite and a power user of generative AI. You dont get hung up on tools; you use whatever gets the best result the fastest.
• Attention to Detail: You have an eye for lighting shadows and perspective. You ensure that AI-generated elements blend perfectly into the final composition so they never look fake.
• Speed without sacrificing quality: You thrive on high-volume output. You can turn around multiple high-end thumbnails in a single day without the quality ever dipping.
• Analytical Thinking: You dont just feel that a design is good. You look at the data and can explain why a certain visual is likely to perform better.
• High Ownership: You treat the CTR of every video as your personal responsibility. If a video is underperforming you are already building a new thumbnail before anyone asks.
