A reputed CBSE residential school in Ramnagar Uttarakhand is seeking an experienced and dedicated Social Science and Political Science Teacher who can effectively handle classes from Grades VI to XII.
The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching Social Science (Classes VIX) and Political Science (Classes XIXII) while ensuring excellent academic outcomes. Since the school follows a residential model preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked in boarding schools and are comfortable conducting evening preparation classes when required.
- Teach Social Science subjects to students of Classes VI to X.
- Teach Political Science to students of Classes XI and XII.
- Prepare lesson plans in accordance with CBSE guidelines and the National Education Policy (NEP).
- Conduct classroom assessments assignments tests and examinations.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage critical thinking analytical abilities and effective communication skills among students.

- Maintain discipline and encourage active participation in classroom activities.
- Integrate technology and smart classroom tools into teaching methods.

- Assist with hostel supervision and evening study sessions whenever required.
- Masters degree in Political Science History Geography Economics or a related discipline.
- Bachelor of Education (.) is mandatory.
- Minimum 25 years of experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in a CBSE residential or boarding school will be preferred.
- Experience in teaching both secondary and senior secondary classes will be an advantage.
