Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive Computer Science curriculum for higher secondary (Class 11 & 12) students.
- Prepare lesson plans teaching materials and practical lab sessions aligned with the latest syllabus and industry standards.
- Assess student performance through assignments projects quizzes and examinations providing constructive feedback.
- Mentor and guide students on academic projects coding competitions and research initiatives.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate interdisciplinary learning and promote technology-driven pedagogy.
- Maintain classroom discipline create an inclusive learning environment and encourage critical thinking.
- Participate in faculty meetings professional development programs and school events.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in computer science and incorporate relevant topics such as AI data science and cybersecurity into the curriculum.
Essential Qualifications
- Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent professional qualification).
- Cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) or Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for Computer Science (preferred).
- Strong foundation in core Computer Science subjects: algorithms data structures programming languages databases operating systems and networking.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi.
- Ability to manage a classroom and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
Desired Experience
- Minimum 23 years of teaching experience at the higher secondary or junior college level.
- Handson experience with programming tools and environments (e.g. Python Java C IDEs and version control systems).
- Experience in guiding student projects hackathons or coding competitions.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital assessment tools is an added advantage.
