TEST ENGINEER
Job Summary
Engineer (L4) Reports to: Manual Lead / Architect
- A mid-level test engineer executing manual testing on Tier-1 banking systems. You will bridge the gap between senior architects and junior analysts carrying working test-design responsibility on critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual tests on Tier-1 banking applications including ICS CRM Retail and Postilion
- Design test cases for Tier-1 features under Senior IC peer review
- Maintain the regression test suite for assigned Tier-1 applications
- Support UAT execution on assigned Tier-1 changes
- Log defects with engineering-grade evidence and clear reproduction steps
- Support Test Analysts during peak testing weeks
Essential Skills Required
- 4 years in software testing
- ISTQB Foundation certification
- Manual test design and execution skills
- Proficiency with test management tools (Jira Zephyr Xray)
- Defect management and evidence capture skills
- Working knowledge of SQL for data verification
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
Desirable Skills
- ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst certification
- Banking or financial services domain experience particularly on core banking systems
- Experience with Tier-1 or mission-critical application testing
- Familiarity with UAT coordination and business-stakeholder engagement
