Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to design develop and maintain automated test frameworks ensuring software quality and performance . The ideal candidate will have a strong test engineering background excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail . This role requires expertise in web technologies NodeJS with Jest or Cypress and or Playwright with a strong focus on .

• Design develop and maintain automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium Cypress Playwright and Jest .

• Implement and maintain test scripts for validating web applications and REST APIs .

• Ensure automation coverage for -based applications and backend services.

• Perform functional regression and integration testing to ensure software stability.

• Identify document and report bugs and performance issues .

• Maintain and enhance test coverage for newly developed and existing applications.

• Monitor and optimize test execution times and performance .

• Troubleshoot test failures and CI/CD pipeline integrations .

• Work closely with developers to ensure timely bug fixes and enhancements.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Collaborate with the development and DevOps teams to improve deployment workflows.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers QA engineers and business analysts.

• Maintain comprehensive test documentation including test cases and reports.

• Provide feedback and recommendations for improving test automation best practices .

• 3 years of experience in test automation engineering .

• Strong knowledge of NodeJS Jest Cypress Playwright and .

• Experience in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks .

• Proficiency in JavaScript TypeScript or Python for writing test scripts.

• Hands-on experience with version control (Git) .

• Familiarity with web technologies API testing and debugging methodologies .

• Proficient English communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field .

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.

• Exposure to security testing frameworks .

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline integrations

• Understanding of cloud-based testing environments .

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized testing.
