The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Test Engineer to lead quality assurance activities across software applications and platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in test strategy test automation defect management and stakeholder collaboration to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Design develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
- Lead functional integration regression system and user acceptance testing efforts.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
- Identify document track and verify defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers product owners business analysts and project managers to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Review requirements and design documents to ensure testability and quality standards.
- Analyze test results and provide quality metrics and status reports to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior testers and provide technical guidance on testing best practices.
- Continuously improve testing processes tools and methodologies.
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to release planning activities.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies test design techniques and defect lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium Playwright Cypress UFT or similar.
- Experience in API testing using Postman ReadyAPI Rest Assured or equivalent tools.
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools like JIRA Azure DevOps TestRail or ALM.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience in Performance Testing using JMeter LoadRunner or similar tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure AWS or Google Cloud.
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
- Experience leading QA/testing initiatives for large-scale enterprise applications.
