Technician – DG Set & Diesel Engine

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance of DG Sets and diesel engines.
  
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and engine-related faults.
  
• Carry out repairs and replacement of engine components filters belts hoses and other parts as required.
  
• Inspect and maintain fuel systems cooling systems lubrication systems and starting systems.
  
• Monitor engine performance oil pressure coolant temperature and other operating parameters.
  
• Conduct periodic inspections and ensure DG Sets and diesel engines remain in proper working condition.
  
• Maintain service records maintenance logs and reports of repairs and spare parts used.
  
• Identify technical issues and take corrective action to minimize equipment downtime.
  
• Follow safety procedures while carrying out maintenance and repair activities.
  
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Team and Site In-Charge for servicing schedules and equipment requirements.
  

Required Skills

• Practical knowledge of DG Set maintenance and diesel engine repair.
  
• Ability to identify mechanical faults and perform troubleshooting.
  
• Ability to work independently at project sites and handle maintenance activities efficiently.
  
• Willingness to travel or relocate to project sites as per company requirements.
  

Preferred Experience

Experience in servicing and maintaining DG Sets diesel engines construction equipment and other diesel-powered machinery will be preferred.

30K - 40 K or based on experience technical skills and company norms
