AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design planning delivery and operation of all AWS global other words were the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers storage networking power and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and were looking for talented people who want to help.
Youll join a diverse team of software hardware and network engineers supply chain specialists security experts operations managers and other vital roles. Youll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Key job responsibilities
Our Learning Lab Manager (HYD) will manage all aspects of the large-scale stand-alone Learning Lab at HYD007 including scheduling trainings conducting VIP tours training-the-trainers and managing Yellow Badge reports (such as janitorial staff). They will report directly to Data Center Learning Labs team leadership; coordinate closely (dotted line reporting) with HYD data center leadership; and work collaboratively with the global Data Center Learning Labs team in SEA SYD DUB and PDX.

Data Center Learning is the single-threaded leader for learning and development across all of our AWS Infrastructure Services data centers. We are a team of curriculum developers technical trainers product and program managers localization experts and many more who are obsessed with the quality of training in our data centers and the value that training brings to the business.

- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in a training role including technical training
- Knowledge of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations including systems such as feeders transformers generators switchgear UPS systems ATS units PDU units chillers pumps air handling units and CRAC units
- Experience with communication presentation and negotiation
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word SharePoint and PowerPoint)
- 5 years of experience in data center operations or similar mission-critical facility
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Knowledge of fundamentals of networking security databases (relational or NoSQL) operating systems (Unix Linux and/or Windows)
- Experience with project management
- Experience designing and developing IT or technical training materials and content
- 4 years of data center engineering or operations or 1 years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience
- Knowledge of analytic tools
