About the role

We are looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer to provide advanced technical support and administration for enterprise **Data Centre Network and Security infrastructure**.

The role will be responsible for L3 troubleshooting complex incident resolution root cause analysis network/security implementation infrastructure upgrades change management technical documentation OEM coordination and mentoring of L1/L2 engineers.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in **Cisco Nexus Data Centre switching routing load balancing firewalls and enterprise network security** and should be capable of independently handling critical production issues in a 247 Data Centre environment.

* Provide **L3 technical support** for enterprise Network and Security infrastructure.

* Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security incidents.

* Act as the technical escalation point for L1/L2 teams.

* Support critical production incidents and participate in major incident bridges.

* Perform detailed troubleshooting using logs packet captures device statistics and configuration analysis.

* Ensure timely restoration of services while maintaining proper change and security procedures.

2. Cisco Data Centre Networking

Strong hands-on experience with **Cisco Nexus switches** including:

* Cisco Nexus 9000 series

* Layer 2 and Layer 3 configuration

* VLAN trunking and EtherChannel

* STP/RSTP

* vPC and vPC peer-link

* HSRP

* Inter-VLAN routing

* OSPF and BGP

* VRF

* VXLAN/EVPN concepts

* NDFC administration and troubleshooting

* Interface port-channel and transceiver troubleshooting

* Nexus upgrade and migration activities

Responsibilities include:

* Troubleshooting complex Nexus L2/L3 issues.

* Troubleshooting vPC peer-link and keepalive-related issues.

* Troubleshooting routing and forwarding problems.

* Supporting Data Centre fabric implementation and expansion.

* Performing configuration reviews and optimization.

* Supporting Nexus/NDFC upgrades and migration activities.

3. Routing & WAN

* Advanced troubleshooting of enterprise routing environments.

* Troubleshoot routing adjacency and route propagation issues.

* Troubleshoot inter-Data Centre connectivity.

* Support DR connectivity and network failover activities.

4. Load Balancer Administration

Hands-on experience with enterprise load-balancing technologies such as:

Radware Alteon**

Responsibilities include:

* VIP creation and troubleshooting.

* Server pool and member configuration.

* Health monitor configuration.

* Load-balancing method and persistence troubleshooting.

* NAT and SNAT configuration.

* SSL offloading concepts.

* GSLB configuration and troubleshooting.

* Troubleshooting application connectivity through load balancers.

* Supporting planned migrations and DR/failover activities.

5. Antivirus/Security

Provide L3 support for Trend micro antivirus SPS TMDSM etc.

Responsibilities include:

* Firewall rule troubleshooting and analysis.

* NAT and security-policy troubleshooting.

* Application/service connectivity troubleshooting.

* Log analysis and traffic-flow verification.

* Coordinate with Security teams for security incidents.

* Ensure network changes follow security and compliance requirements.

About you

* 8 years of experience in Network & Security / Infrastructure operations**.

* Strong L2/L3 enterprise networking experience.

* Significant experience in Data Centre network environments.

* Experience handling critical incidents and complex technical escalations.

* Experience with network implementation upgrades and migration projects.

* Experience working with OEM/TAC and multiple technology teams.

* Experience providing technical guidance to L1/L2 engineers.

Preferred certifications include:

* **CCNA**

* **CCNP Enterprise**

* Cisco Certified Specialist Enterprise Core

* Relevant firewall/security certifications

* Relevant Radware certifications

* Bachelors degree in **Computer Science Information Technology Electronics Telecommunications or a related technical field**.
