Project: BRIM Archiving Project
Job Title: SAP ILM Developer
Primary Skill: SAP ILM Development
Secondary Skill: Data Migration & Testing
Location: Offshore Noida
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP ILM Developer to support the BRIM Archiving Project in an offshore delivery model. The role focuses on SAP ILM development configuration support and execution activities along with handson involvement in data migration validation and testing to ensure compliant and accurate data archiving.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and configure SAP ILM solutions for data archiving retention and destruction.
- Support implementation of ILM policies retention rules and archiving objects as per project requirements.
- Work closely with functional technical and Basis teams to support endtoend archiving execution.
- Assist in data migration activities including data validation reconciliation and postarchiving checks.
- Prepare and execute unit testing SIT and UAT support related to ILM and archiving processes.
- Analyze defects related to ILM and data migration and support timely resolution.
- Support archiving validation audit checks and compliance requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation configuration details and test evidence.
- Participate in offshoreonsite coordination and provide regular status updates.
Required Skills & Experience
- 58 years of SAP experience with handson exposure to SAP ILM development.
- Strong understanding of SAP data archiving concepts and ILM framework.
- Experience supporting data migration reconciliation and testing activities.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments.
- Ability to work closely with functional Basis and testing teams.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to SAP BRIM (FICA / CI / CM) data models.
- Experience working on archiving carveout or transformation projects.
- Knowledge of media utilities or subscriptionbased billing systems.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance / solutions ;define advocate and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
2. To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives best packages supporting architecture best practices technical risks breakdown into components estimations).
4. To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
